The CMA Fest was launched in 1972 and was billed as a Fan Fair. It has only grown from there...and now spans a good portion of downtown for 4 days.
The CMA Fest has seven stages...and there is NO Ticket required!
What most people do not know about the festival is that Music Artists perform, sign photographs and participate all without compensation. Proceeds from the festival are donated to school programs to support music education.
How awesome is that!
